1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government connection. It neither stores official criminal records nor retrieves records, performs official checks, or files paperwork on a visitor's behalf.

Its guides direct readers to Lincoln County Sheriff Records, the Lincoln County Circuit Clerk, the MSHP CJIS Missouri Central Repository, the Missouri Sex Offender Registry, and outside research tools. Missouri Sunshine Law Chapter 610 requests still go to the public body that holds the requested record.

2. Rules for Using This Site

• Stalk, threaten, or harass a person with information found here

Missouri Sex Offender Registry information is published for public-safety awareness, and the MSHP disclaimer warns that using it to facilitate a crime is illegal. Registry information does not authorize vigilantism, blacklisting, or unlawful discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Lincoln County Criminal History is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and does not prepare credit reports, background checks, or any other consumer report. Its advertising partners are not presented as services for applicant screening, rental review, insurance pricing, or credit judgments. Users agree not to use site or linked-tool information to:

• Make a hiring or termination decision
• Evaluate a renter or housing applicant
• Set insurance terms or judge creditworthiness
• Decide eligibility for a license, permit, or public program
• Carry out any other FCRA-regulated purpose

A lawful regulated check must be obtained from the appropriate official or FCRA-compliant provider, not from this website or its general research tools.
